Is it too tiring to visit two archaeological sites in one day?
We strategically designed this itinerary to be a pleasure, not a marathon. We visit Chichén Itzá early (cool weather and no crowds) and Ek Balam during the peaceful afternoon (when the site is quietest). Between both visits, you’ll have nearly 2 hours of total relaxation at the Cenote and Buffet to recharge your energy. It is the perfect balance between adventure and rest.
Do I need to go to a meeting point?
Not at all! You are on vacation; we don’t want you to stress about finding directions. Our service includes Round-trip Transportation right from the door of your hotel or Airbnb in Valladolid. We pick you up and drop you off at the same spot when we finish. Your only job is setting your alarm!
I'm traveling with children or seniors, is it recommended?
Absolutely! The advantage of our small groups is that you set the pace. At Chichén Itzá, the terrain is flat and easy to walk. At Ek Balam, climbing the pyramid is completely optional; if someone prefers not to climb, they can relax under the shade of the trees and admire the architecture from below. Additionally, at the Cenote, we provide life jackets and comfortable access for all ages.
Is it really worth climbing Ek Balam after seeing Chichén Itzá?
It’s the question everyone asks before going, and the answer is always: YES, it’s the highlight of the day! Chichén Itzá is majestic but ‘untouchable.’ Ek Balam, on the other hand, is interactive. Being able to climb the Acropolis, touch the ancient stones, and look out over the jungle from 100 feet (30 meters) high gives you a connection that Chichén simply cannot offer. It is the perfect grand finale to your trip.

What extra expenses should I consider?
We want you to enjoy yourself without having to reach for your wallet every five minutes. Your reservation ALREADY INCLUDES: Cenote admission, transportation, and the buffet lunch. The only items not included are the admission fees to the Archaeological Sites (paid per person at each site) and drinks during lunch (soda/beer). Everything else is covered!
