The adventure begins early in the morning with departure from Valladolid towards the fishing village of Río Lagartos. There you will board a boat operated by local providers to explore the mangroves and the Ría Lagartos Biosphere Reserve, where it is common to observe different species of birds and, in season, flocks of flamingos.
The route continues to Las Coloradas, famous for its pink water landscapes created by salt ponds. It is a perfect spot for photos and to appreciate a very different side of the Yucatán coast. Depending on the operation and weather conditions you will also visit a nearby cenote to swim and cool off before returning to Valladolid.
This service includes shared transportation only; boat tours, entrance fees, park access and meals are not included unless they are clearly mentioned in your reservation. When you book you will receive the detailed schedule, meeting point and practical recommendations for sun protection, footwear and what to bring.
